The childhood of Fransisco.

„I was five when I started to beg. I passed all the money I made on to my mother. This helped her to buy milk for my little brother. If something was left over I got to eat. My stepfather did not look after us. He was beating my mother. And I hated her for not resisting. I just ran away – to the streets. I started stealing and taking drugs. Every time the police would find me they beat me up. They beat up all the streetchildren.
One night I saw a policeman raping a girl. It happened in a car. I picked up a stone and threw it at the car window. The girl managed to escape. Myself, I ran for life – did not know where though. I entered a public bus - and went out again only after it became light outside.

A few weeks later when I was asleep the policeman found me. He put a gun to my ear and shouted: „wake up you criminal! Now you will die!” Then he made a sound like „peng peng”. I just ran. Only moments later I realised that I was still alive.”
